Local Coalition to End Homelessness
Sitgreaves is the Local Coalition to End Homelessness (LCEH) in Navajo and Apache Counties. This coalition operates as part of the Continuum of Care under the Balance of State, which is managed by the Arizona Department of Housing. Thirteen counties participate in the Balance of State. As the LCEH, we collaborate with partners to improve access to homelessness data, housing, wraparound services, and housing intake sites, while also expanding low-income and homeless housing programs across both counties. We hold bi-monthly meetings to share information, discuss programs and services, provide education, and explore funding opportunities. If you are interested in participating, please contact the LCEH Coordinator.
Coordinated Entry Case Conferencing
Coordinated Case Conferencing is a bi-monthly meeting with Navajo County stakeholders, agencies, and service providers who offer wraparound programs and housing services. These agencies collaborate every other week to support low-income and homeless individuals in need of assistance and housing. If your agency or organization provides services, resources, or programs to those in need and would like to participate in these meetings, please contact our CECC Coordinator.
Point In Time (PIT) Count
The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is an annual effort to survey unsheltered individuals experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. HUD requires Continuums of Care (CoCs) to conduct this count each year, focusing on those who are unsheltered. In Navajo and Apache Counties, the count is planned, coordinated, and executed locally. If you would like to participate, please contact our PIT Count Coordinator.
