A live online resource directory helping rural residents find local support — and helping providers connect people to the right services faster.
Through a partnership between Sitgreaves Community Development Corporation, the RE:center, and eTransX, a local resource guide has been transformed into a shared online platform for the community.
The directory creates one place where residents can search for help, providers can navigate resources in real time, and local partners can better understand what services exist — and where gaps remain.
This work supports the broader Wellbeing Care Community by strengthening coordination across nonprofits, government organizations, charitable groups, schools, churches, healthcare partners, and other community providers.

The proposed Child Development Center is one example of that work. By addressing the need for affordable, reliable, high-quality childcare, the initiative can support children, working families, educators, employers, schools, and the wider community.

Sitgreaves Community Development Corporation serves as the Local Coalition to End Homelessness for Navajo and Apache Counties as part of Arizona’s Balance of State Continuum of Care.
Through this role, SGCDC collaborates with local and regional partners to improve access to homelessness data, housing, coordinated intake, and supportive services.
The coalition also works to expand housing solutions for low-income and homeless households while helping partners share information, align efforts, and explore funding opportunities.

The Point-in-Time Count is an annual effort to survey unsheltered individuals experiencing homelessness on a single night in January.
HUD requires Continuums of Care to conduct this count each year, with a focus on individuals and households who are unsheltered.
In Navajo and Apache Counties, the PIT Count is planned, coordinated, and executed locally to help better understand homelessness needs across the region.
