Featured Initiative Teacherages

Teacher housing that helps educators live where they serve.

Teacherages are a rural housing model designed to provide affordable housing options for educators and school staff. In rural communities, teacher recruitment and retention are often tied to whether educators can find stable, affordable housing near the schools they serve.

By using school district property and prefabricated housing strategies, Teacherages can help reduce development barriers, address rural construction challenges, and create a model that other rural school districts may be able to learn from.
